Share your views on our proposed local bus network for the South West Wales region
The next major step to improve bus services in Wales is underway with Transport for Wales and local authorities urging the people of South West Wales to share their views and opinions on proposed changes.
The bus reform bill is currently going through the Senedd and bus franchising will begin in summer 2027, with South West Wales being the first region to benefit from the changes.
No.79 Bridleway Creigiau Stopping up Order
I am writing to inform you an application has been made to extinguish the Public Right of Way Pentyrch No.79 bridleway. The bridleway is inaccessible on its current alignment due to property frontages and no access across the former railway line. The landowner has applied to extinguish the bridleway as no alternative routes are deemed suitable or agreeable.

The Welsh Government and Transport for Wales are working to reform and redesign the existing bus network, principally through bus franchising.
