Creigiau Quarry - next blast scheduled for 23rd September at 1pm.

We would like to advise you that a routine quarry blast is scheduled to take place at Creigiau Quarry on Wednesday 23rd September 2026 at 1pm approx.

There will be 3 monitors out, 1 at the Kennels and one each in Pentyrch & Creigiau , locations selected from a previous list of addresses sent to the Quarry Manager .

The Quarry Manager has said also

"I appreciate that there has been recent concern within the local community since the issues associated with Taffs Well. While this blast is unrelated to those events, we understand local sensitivities and wanted to provide advance notice as a courtesy."
